Responsible investing

Sustainability is a core component of the TIME Investments business strategy as well as our investment philosophy. Prioritising responsible investment aligns with the long-term nature of the financial assets we invest in and the relationships we look for from our investment partners.

We believe that identifying, measuring, and managing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors play an important role in ensuring attractive
risk-adjusted returns over the long term. Integrating sustainability within our investment process not only enhances risk management but, in some
cases, allows us to quantify benefits through which we are able to assess our contribution to the broader sustainability agenda.

We constantly seek to better understand the concerns and meet the aspirations of our stakeholders with respect to sustainability.

Responsible investment in action

We are proud of the positive outcomes our real asset portfolios have achieved through the integration of sustainable considerations.

Through responsible investing initiatives, our real asset strategies have continued to:

Generate clean energy

We have 57 wind farms and 48 solar farms. Our assets generate enough clean energy to power over 170,000 UK homes.

Offset carbon

We offset 105,000 tonnes of CO2 from the air each year.

Care for the vulnerable

We provide more than 9,000 beds for the elderly and people with specialist or complex care needs.

Educate the next generation

We educate 2,300 school pupils and accommodate more than 11,000 babies and toddlers in day nurseries each year.
